Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to enhance our team in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in DevSecOps, utilizing a variety of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud tools. A collaborative mindset, the ability to mentor junior staff, and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration, scanning, and deployment of various applications within orchestrated frameworks.
- Collaborate with deployment teams to facilitate deployments across development, testing, and operational environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines utilizing gitlab-ci.
- Monitor CI pipelines for performance, addressing any issues that arise.
- Implement and manage version promotion for applications within CI pipelines.
- Integrate CI pipelines with development tools for artifact management, software testing, and quality assessment.
- Execute Continuous Delivery and manage automated or manual deployments into orchestrated Kubernetes environments.
- Troubleshoot deployed applications in both development and production settings.
- Conduct software release processes, including branch creation, integration, and testing.
- Create and maintain helm charts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in DevOps.
- Proven expertise in container orchestration technologies, microservices development, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience deploying Kubernetes in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Skilled in designing and implementing containerized workload solutions on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with integrating container platforms into automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to guide developers and operations team members in best practices for DevOps and container technologies.
- Strong aptitude for quickly learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.
- Experience in architecting comprehensive and efficient DevSecOps practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Commitment to code quality, automation, and operational excellence.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing new CI/CD pipeline architectures and processes.
- Proficiency in Automation & Orchestration using Helm and Konvoy.
- Background in Agile software delivery environments.
- Knowledge of functional or imperative programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- An active DoD security clearance.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $168,400 per year. SciTec considers various factors when extending an offer, including role responsibilities, work experience, education, and key skills.
