Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in network engineering and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving complex network challenges. A strong collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to mentor junior team members, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective network solutions (LAN, WLAN, WAN) as part of product and infrastructure teams.
- Configure and deploy software, servers, routers, and other networking devices.
- Monitor critical network metrics, including performance and device integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from lower service desk tiers, focusing on both cloud and local infrastructures.
- Automate routine tasks and assess their effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship to team members on technical challenges.
- Develop, implement, and test security protocols, including access authentication and disaster recovery plans.
- Engage with users to design optimal networking solutions.
- Ensure superior network performance, capacity, and scalability through innovative design.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, Aruba professional) are preferred.
- Proven background in network administration and architecture.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including monitoring and access control.
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols (primarily TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with troubleshooting OSI network layers and using diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with planning and managing WAN, firewalls, LAN, DNS, VLANs, and VPNs in various environments.
- Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SANs) and Fibre Channel configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) and network diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
- Excellent organizational, mentoring, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dell networking equipment and VMware environments.
- Security+ certification.
- Familiarity with network-attached storage (NAS) and SAN management.
- Knowledge of Git and Continuous Integration/Deployment practices.
- Experience with container platforms and associated networking/security.
