Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Beverage Service Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages to our esteemed guests, adhering to precise recipes and utilizing appropriate measuring techniques. Your duties will include serving wine and champagne, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, and ensuring that all equipment is in top condition. You will also be tasked with creating visually appealing drink presentations and managing inventory by stocking ice, glassware, and necessary supplies.

Additionally, you will handle the cleaning of glassware, clear tables and bar tops of used items, and anticipate restocking needs. You will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling cash at the end of your shift, and addressing any discrepancies. Safeguarding all alcoholic beverages and ensuring secure storage will also be part of your responsibilities.

It is essential to complete all closing tasks efficiently and adhere to company policies and safety regulations. You will report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management and participate in safety training as required.

Maintaining a professional appearance and keeping company information confidential is crucial. You will greet all customers warmly, anticipate their needs, and express sincere gratitude for their patronage.

Effective communication with colleagues and guests is vital, as is fostering positive working relationships to achieve common goals. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and be prepared to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, navigating various work environments, and completing other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.



QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

Relevant Work Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Leadership Experience:
No prior leadership experience is necessary.

License or Certification:
Not required.
