Key Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain and utilize complete and current information concerning Orchestra Hall products, services, facilities, policies, and procedures.
  • Beverage Service: Mix and serve alcoholic and other beverages at Orchestra Hall bars, adhering to city, state, and federal regulations regarding age verification and responsible consumption.
  • Bar Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and clean the bar before and after each concert or event, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Emergency Procedures: Handle emergencies in accordance with emergency procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Customer Service: Uphold the Audience Services department standards of service, providing advocacy, efficiency, and courtesy to our guests.
Work Schedule

Work shifts may vary, typically consisting of evening performances on Monday to Friday and daytime and evening performances on Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to count and make change, use cash registers.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently while being a team player with co-workers.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bartending Experience: 1-2 years previous bartending experience.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience.
  • Certifications: Bartender certificate and TIPS training.
