About Us:
Our organization is in search of a proactive and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney who can provide comprehensive legal support. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of labor and employment legislation and demonstrate a successful history of delivering legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert legal advice on various labor and employment issues, including wage disputes, discrimination cases, workplace harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
- Draft and evaluate employment agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards and safeguard the organization's interests.
- Represent the organization in labor-related disputes and litigation, which includes preparing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and advocating in court.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and allegations of misconduct.
- Collaborate with human resources and management to devise and implement effective labor relations strategies and mitigate employment-related risks.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in labor and employment law, advising management on potential implications and necessary actions.
- Provide training sessions for HR and management teams on labor regulations and best practices in employment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
- Active admission to the state bar.
- Extensive experience in labor and employment law, preferably within the finance sector.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Labor Law Attorney or Senior Employment Attorney.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and produce high-quality work under pressure.
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex legal information and providing clear, actionable advice.
