Bilingual Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Case Manager to join our team at the YMCA of San Francisco. As a key member of our Community Resource Center, you will provide critical support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship or housing insecurity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive and empathic case management services to clients, including assessments, financial aid application processing, and data collection and entry.
- Connect clients to housing options, local resources, and community support services.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with clients and promote program services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and program growth.
- Participate in training and staff development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in providing direct services to low-income communities and/or people requiring emergency services.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly in crisis situations and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity to the stresses of individuals and families living with insecure housing, homelessness, and scarcity.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related specialty.
- Experience with de-escalation techniques and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Word & Excel) and system databases.
