Bilingual Case Manager

Compass Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide comprehensive support to families at The Margot, a permanent supportive housing program. Your expertise in case management, counseling, and crisis intervention will help families achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services to 25-28 families living on-site, including connecting them to community resources and facilitating events for The Margot community.
- Welcome and orient new families to the community, perform initial outreach, and develop positive relationships with families to foster connection, support, and trust.
- Partner with families to develop short and long-range stability, self-sufficiency, and well-being goals, and provide counseling, crisis intervention, and informed referrals to services offered within Compass and externally.
- Respond to concerns about resident families from Compass colleagues and partners, including threats to tenancy, and perform monthly unit inspections in partnership with property management.
- Work proactively with families that exhibit behaviors that put them at risk for eviction and provide support and assistance to families that are relocating.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and promptly enter case notes, assessments, and service plans in Compass' Salesforce database and ONE System.
- Fluency or a high level of professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Relevant experience in social services settings, including counseling and crisis intervention.
- Ability to assess safety concerns and de-escalate challenging client situations.
- Understanding of challenges facing families with housing instability and knowledge of Bay Area housing and social service resources.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with Salesforce is a plus.
