Emergency Department Nurse

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Triage patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their condition
- Assess patient condition through visual evaluation, medication reconciliation, and vital sign measurements
- Administer medication and assist with medical procedures as prescribed by the treating physician
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Partner with other members of the patient care team to provide comprehensive care
- Chart patient medical history, contact information, condition, medications, and treatment
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program
- Two years of Critical Care experience
- American Heart Association Certifications of Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Registered Nurse - licensed to practice in the state of Indiana
- Two years of Emergency Department experience
- CEN, TNCC, ENPC certifications
