Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must fulfill Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening criteria for this role. These criteria include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • The successful candidate must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Maintaining or obtaining the necessary U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements is essential for this role.
  • Clearance Verification: This position necessitates successful verification of the stated security clearance to comply with federal government customer requirements.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This role requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position mandates verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions associated with citizenship. The role supports U.S. federal, state, and/or local government agencies and is subject to specific citizenship-based restrictions.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 2+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Management Information Systems (MIS), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)/Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or other relevant Engineering Certifications.
  • Experience in critical infrastructure, data centers, and/or high-security, high-availability facilities.
  • Proven experience working with teams that support high-security, high-availability communication systems.
  • Capability to successfully engage in customer and executive-facing tasks.

  • Coordinates vendor services to ensure the secure operation of specialized Secure Work Areas.
