Job Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to automate and streamline the development and deployment processes, improve reliability and efficiency, and ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation: Develop, maintain, and improve automated processes for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Cloud Management: Deploy and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools to ensure optimal performance and rapid troubleshooting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Containerization: Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to improve system performance, deployment automation, and support ongoing development projects.
  • Cloud Security: Ensure best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize infrastructure and services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Incident Management: Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and ensure high system availability.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in DevOps role and 3+ years in the senior role.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • IaC Tools: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Scripting & Automation: 5+ years of experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell for automation purposes.
  • Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Security: 5+ years of expertise managing security configurations for cloud-based environments.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with development, operations, and security teams to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
