Job Summary

The Cyber Risk Sr Officer I is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. The successful candidate will be accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business, with a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. This role primarily affects a sub-function and involves handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee the application of operational risk policies, technology, and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
  • Develop publications and briefings of multi-source intelligence products on threat issues.
  • Establish credible criteria, tools, and methodologies used for threat intelligence and threat analysis.
  • Serve as the substantive analytical authority for analysis and production of intelligence assessments on the impact of threats to Citi globally.
  • Produce innovative strategic-level intelligence reports that promote decision-making to advance the safety and security of Citis infrastructure and brand.
  • Lead intelligence production within the Risk organization, producing strategic intelligence products and threat forecasts, and serve as a primary liaison to the first-line intelligence components.
  • Review analytical products and drive analytical planning and the intelligence production cycle.
  • Handle intelligence projects and programs with a host of participants and stakeholders while guiding analytical efforts on complex issues. Drive outcomes and recommendations of intelligence projects into Citi businesses globally.
  • Guide decisions by intelligence, policy, business, and client groups concerning threat issues.
  • Develop, implement, and track performance metrics on the impact of intelligence production on business processes, procedures, and/or policies globally.
  • Partner with senior Citi staff to produce strategic threat intelligence products and threat forecasts.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable about current and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication experience with complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
