About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced credit risk audit specialist to join our team. As an Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for leading and executing audits, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and assess their impact on our audit plan
  • Proactively coordinate audit and regulatory finding follow-up with stakeholders and escalate challenges as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of internal audit or credit risk management experience
  • Subject matter expertise in wholesale banking credit risk
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, audit methodology, and audit execution
  • Experience in executing end-to-end audits and regulatory validations
  • Knowledge of key regulatory requirements for Credit Risk (SR 13-3, SR 11-10 etc.)
  • A strong understanding of key governance, strategy, risk, and management processes, internal control, and internal audit within the banking sector
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
