About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Member Engagement and Community Development to join our team at Emory University. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our members and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention, including the creation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and partners to promote the organization's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality member experiences, including events, training programs, and online resources.
  • Develop and manage budgets, reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure the effective operation of the department.

Requirements:

  • ACPE Certified Educator with deep knowledge of the association's unique standards for experiential learning and a proven-track record for successfully delivering necessary, high-quality outcomes.
  • Master's degree in theology, education, or related field, and five years of experience in organizational learning or related field (up to ten years preferred).
  • Familiarity with the needs, hopes, and resources of educators, spiritual care practitioners, and therapists.
  • Experience with database management; comfort with learning new software and applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint.
