  • Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings for effective communication.
  • Establish a program to maintain strong client relations involving onsite staff.
  • Initiate and participate in meetings for problem-solving and planning.
  • Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow forecasts.
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders.
  • Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover.
  • Create, update, review, and maintain daily reports and logs for documentation purposes.
  • Ensure timely completion and documentation of performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Recommend changes to organizational structure, policies, procedures, and staff as necessary.
  • Review, approve, and/or reject promotions up to General Foremen.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of construction experience, particularly in a superintendent or leadership role supporting civil construction operations.
  • Experience in civil project functions within industrial, LNG, and/or power construction projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading and overseeing lime and cement stabilization processes.
  • Willingness to travel and/or relocate as necessary for projects in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and surrounding states.
  • Proven experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes related to Kiewit's policies, procedures, and software applications.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Other Requirements:

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work productively and meet deadlines.
  • Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others in a team environment.
  • Commitment to performing work safely and effectively, following both oral and written instructions.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations and adapt to changing conditions.
