Job Summary

Catalyst Medical Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing and Central Supply Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to departments and building strong relationships with vendors to monitor, maintain, distribute, and facilitate the supply chain processes of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Collaborate with the management team and departments to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet patient care needs.
  • Professionally interact with suppliers from PO submission, to shipping and receiving, and error resolution.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with supplier's customer service.
  • Support cost analysis efforts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the purchasing function.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track backorders, and address any supply chain issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation, both manually and electronically.
  • Collaborate with departments to maintain inventory levels.
  • Maintains up to date/accurate pricing histories and other vendor records.
  • Prepare and send purchasing reports daily/weekly as required.
  • Work with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies and facilitate the PO and accounts payable processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Some college education is preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role or other role with purchasing or procurement responsibilities. (Preferably in a healthcare environment)
  • 1+ years of experience with data entry in a purchasing, PO management and/or inventory management system. (Preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of purchasing principles, supplier management, and supply chain processes.
  • Effective communication, both written and oral.
  • Negotiating and forecasting experience is a plus, but not required.
