The City of Lewiston, ID is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our Facilities Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our custodial services, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high-quality results.
• Manage and maintain custodial supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in custodial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and improving processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain first aid, CPR, and AED certification.
