Job Summary

Catalyst Medical Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing and Central Supply Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to departments and building strong relationships with vendors to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Prepare and review purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the management team and departments to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet patient care needs.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Professionally interact with suppliers from PO submission, to shipping and receiving, and error resolution.
  • Cost Analysis and Process Improvement: Support cost analysis efforts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the purchasing function.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track backorders, and address any supply chain issues or delays.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation, both manually and electronically.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with departments to maintain inventory levels and prepare and send purchasing reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma, some college education preferred, and 1+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role or other role with purchasing or procurement responsibilities.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications, knowledge of purchasing principles, supplier management, and supply chain processes, effective communication, both written and oral.
