Custodial Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodial Lead to join our team at the City of Lewiston, ID. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our buildings and grounds.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our facilities.
• Manage and maintain custodial supplies and equipment, including ordering and inventory control.
• Provide training and guidance to new staff members and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of experience in custodial or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain first aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
