Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to focus on advanced electromagnetic and power integrity system design. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of ASUS product lines through comprehensive multi-physics simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth signal integrity and power integrity simulations across various ASUS products including laptops, desktops, servers, motherboards, graphics cards, mobile devices, and IoT solutions.
  • Evaluate simulation outcomes and deliver precise design recommendations aimed at optimizing overall system functionality.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to interpret simulation data and propose actionable solutions that align with product specifications from initial design to full-scale production.
  • Refine system architecture and implement necessary modifications across all product categories to bolster stability and performance.
  • Investigate cutting-edge electromagnetic technologies and innovative design methodologies to establish standardized processes for implementation.
  • Collaborate with industry experts and academic institutions to explore pioneering multi-physics technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of electromagnetic principles and transmission line theory.
  • Expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, SIWave, Sigrity, CST, and ADS.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English.
  • Quick learner with the capacity to adapt to new methodologies and technologies.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-driven and proactive, capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment requiring flexibility.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in signal integrity and power integrity simulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on signal and power integrity.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Working Environment:

  • Office-based role, primarily working in a standard office setting.
  • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer.
  • Some travel may be necessary, approximately 15% for domestic and international engagements.
