Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team at ASUS. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electromagnetic-related signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) system solutions for our product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct SI and PI simulations on ASUS product lines, including laptops, desktops, servers, motherboards, graphics cards, phones, and IoT devices.
  • Analyze simulation results and provide accurate and effective design recommendations to enhance overall system performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to analyze simulation results and provide recommendations and/or solutions to meet product requirements from the early design stage to mass production.
  • Improve system architecture designs and implement changes across all product lines to enhance system stability and performance.
  • Research advanced electromagnetic technologies, innovative system architecture designs, and setup standardized flows for implementation.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and academia to research innovative multi-physics technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SI/PI simulations.
  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation software, such as HFSS, SIWave, Sigrity, CST, and ADS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems with a data-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering specializing in areas related to SI/PI.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional travel may be required (approximately 15% travel, domestic and international).
