We are seeking a skilled professional in the field of electromagnetic signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) system design. This role is crucial as we aim to enhance the performance of ASUS's diverse product offerings.
The selected candidate will engage in SI/PI simulations across various ASUS products, including laptops, desktops, servers, motherboards, graphics cards, phones, and IoT devices. Responsibilities will span from initial design phases through to mass production, requiring both independent work and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Electrical Engineering and Layout. The role also involves analyzing simulation outcomes and providing actionable insights to ensure project timelines are met. Furthermore, the candidate will explore advanced electromagnetic and multi-physics technologies to support ASUS in delivering unique products to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SI and PI simulations on a range of ASUS products.
- Evaluate simulation data and offer precise design recommendations to improve overall system performance.
- Work closely with project teams to interpret simulation results and suggest solutions that align with product specifications from design to production.
- Refine system architecture designs and implement necessary modifications across all product lines to boost stability and performance.
- Investigate cutting-edge electromagnetic technologies and innovative design methodologies, establishing standardized processes for implementation.
- Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions to research and develop advanced multi-physics technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong grasp of electromagnetic principles and transmission line theory.
- Expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, SIWave, Sigrity, CST, ADS).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to complex challenges.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment that demands flexibility.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SI/PI simulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a focus on SI/PI.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Working Environment:
- Office-based role, typically requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.
- Some travel may be necessary.
