Job Overview

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support various HR functions. This role will contribute to the overall efficiency of the HR department and ensure a positive employee experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and providing support in payroll administration. They will also help with employee relations initiatives, training programs, and performance management, ensuring that all HR practices align with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day recruiting activities for North America growth initiatives.
  • Enter data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including applicant status, interview tracking, interview feedback, and comments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to the HR Director or appropriate management.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now products is preferred, but must have experience working within an HRIS system.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interface and discuss issues with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized to balance and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be professionally motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
