Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with pulmonary and infectious diseases, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Implement evidence-based practices and interventions to promote patient safety, quality of care, and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a positive patient experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in pulmonary and infectious disease nursing.
- One (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
