Position Summary

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to oversee critical projects for a prominent client in the Media & Entertainment industry. This role entails managing a diverse portfolio of large-scale software implementations and infrastructure engineering initiatives. You will collaborate closely with both IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise multiple large-scale programs and projects.
  • Establish and uphold project scope, timelines, and financial plans.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans and progress trackers.
  • Communicate project expectations, risks, and updates effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Assess resource allocation, identify potential bottlenecks, and devise strategies to address them.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within established deadlines.
  • Create and refine project plans to prevent scope creep.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex software projects within an enterprise environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of software and infrastructure engineering principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of effectively coordinating diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt and lead in high-pressure situations and during periods of significant change.
  • A commitment to continuous learning in project management methodologies and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP or CSM.
  • Experience in the media and entertainment sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams.
  • A proactive approach to achieving results and completing tasks efficiently.

Compensation

The compensation for this contract position ranges from $60 to $80 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Pay is determined based on role, level, and location, ensuring fair compensation across various locations.
