Job Summary:The Memory Care Program Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of our memory care programs, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. This role requires a strong understanding of dementia care and a passion for creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement memory care programs that meet the unique needs of our residents
- Collaborate with our care team to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive and person-centered care
- Design and deliver engaging activities and programs that promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our memory care programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide education and support to our care team on dementia care and management
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and resources to support our residents and their families
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. gerontology, social work, nursing)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in dementia care or a related field
- Strong knowledge of dementia care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
