Resident District Manager

Job Summary
As a Resident District Manager with Compass Group, North America, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and lead the team to achieve operational and financial goals. You will provide planning and direction to ensure the success of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team to provide top-notch service to clients, students, and the community.
- Drive and develop self and team towards building strong relationships with clients and achieving key performance indicators.
- Participate in district leadership team meetings and share best practices, mitigate risks, and champion diversity and inclusion.
- Cultivate a culture of transparency, education, safety, and accountability within the account.
- Represent the company as a brand ambassador within the district and community.
- Ensure client needs are met or exceeded, retain the account, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Support functional areas of operation, including safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and company policies, and conduct unit audits to ensure conformance.
- Champion development within the account, conduct performance evaluations, and succession planning.
- Own the financial results for the account and work with leadership to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Required Qualifications:
Educational minimum and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of management experience, preferably in food service, hospitality management, plant operations management, environmental services, laundry, or other Support Services area.
Is proficient in all aspects of food service management with a proven track record of success.
Has a consistent record of leading a business and a team, strong customer service, and good business and financial proficiencies.
Demonstrates strong initiative, critical thinking, ownership, communications (listening, written, and verbal), multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
Champions the inclusive approach, and is proactive, positive, professional, and resilient.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and POS software.
Occasional travel required in this position.
