District Sales Manager

At Lids, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Manager in Training to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales growth by delivering exceptional customer service and implementing sales strategies.
- Successfully complete the District Manager in Training (DMIT) program to enhance your core skills and knowledge.
- Train store personnel on standard operating procedures, state and federal laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel to ensure understanding and compliance with company procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the District Sales Manager and stores under your direction.
- Take appropriate actions to ensure each store maximizes sales, minimizes asset loss, and meets budgetary requirements.
- Travel extensively (up to 90%) to stores within a given geographic area.
- Perform work of subordinates as needed.
- Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
- Ability to work varying days and hours based on business needs.
- Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.
- One year of relevant experience or a two-year degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience.
- Proven supervisory skills.
- Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.
- Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.
- Possess a current valid driver's license, certificate of insurance coverage, and the ability to drive an automobile.
- Driving required for up to 100% of the daily work schedule.
- Standing required for up to 90% of the daily work schedule.
- Relative computer hardware and software experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
