Job Title: C2 Technical Agent Support SME

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a C2 Technical Agent Support SME. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with SSC Technical Agents within the SSC/BZX Division, contributing to critical mission success.

Job Summary

The C2 Technical Agent Support SME will provide direct support to SSC Technical Agents, focusing on the SSC/BZX Division. The primary responsibilities include capturing and managing updates on Risks, Issues, and Gaps for mission threads as identified by SSC/BZX leadership. The role also requires collaboration with Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC) and the U.S. Government (USG) across various SSC areas to identify and address Risks, Issues, and Gaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to SSC Technical Agents, focusing on the SSC/BZX Division
  • Capture and manage updates on Risks, Issues, and Gaps for mission threads as identified by SSC/BZX leadership
  • Collaborate with Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC) and the U.S. Government (USG) across various SSC areas to identify and address Risks, Issues, and Gaps
  • Work with acquisition and operational communities to resolve these issues through innovative and collaborative approaches
Requirements
  • Candidates must be eligible for program clearance and able to perform duties in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), as telework is not permitted
  • This position requires dedication, creativity, and the ability to work effectively in a secure environment
  • Command and Control (C2) program experience
  • 10+ years (Large Space Program Acquisition / Systems Engineering / Operations)
  • 8+ years of experience with National Security Space ground, space, and/or launch systems
