Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Cost Accounting Manager to join our Cost of Sales team. This role will oversee cost management and reporting for our NAND/SSD manufacturing business, managing a team of two employees and driving process efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cost management, accounting principles, and inventory valuation methods, with experience in SAP FICO and process management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost management and reporting for our NAND/SSD manufacturing business
  • Oversee monthly Close activities for Cost of Goods Sold, Cost of Sales, and Gross Inventory
  • Perform SAP costing steps for Close, including executing cost runs and analyzing PPV
  • Calculate and book manual journal entries for Close and own key SOX controls for cost and inventory valuation
  • Produce Cost and Inventory slides for Close management reviews and present to co-CFOs monthly
  • Support Internal and External audit requests and testing, ensuring compliance with key controls
  • Oversee cost-related processes, including managing Cost of Sales overhead spending and maintaining standard cost
  • Partner with Planning, Procurement, and IT to ensure systems and processes keep pace with business changes
  • Drive cost optimization projects and influence decisions in key cost functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business with 7+ years of applicable experience, or a Master's, MBA, or CPA with 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, accounting principles, financial reporting, and inventory valuation methods
  • Strong SAP FICO acumen and proficiency using key cost and inventory reports
  • Thorough understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
  • Process management expertise and proven track record of driving process efficiencies
