We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Statement Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Statement Accountant at Ledgent Finance & Accounting, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. This includes reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries, as well as analyzing financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. You will also assist with audits, grant reporting, and compliance requirements specific to nonprofits, and collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and support financial transparency. If you have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, including progressive month-end close responsibilities, we encourage you to apply. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, are required. Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus, but not required. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $62,500 - $85,000 per year, based on location.
