Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve high-volume food production and presentation standards.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute menu changes, specials, and promotions.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of high-volume culinary management experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong cooking from scratch ability and knowledge of various cuisines.
  • Ability to train, develop, and coach a team of talented individuals.
  • Basic English/Spanish communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
