Key Responsibilities:
As a part-time Customer Support Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service by welcoming visitors, managing phone inquiries, and assisting with pet check-ins.
- Coordinating and confirming appointments to ensure a smooth operation.
- Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients to enhance our service outreach.
- Communicating and clarifying service fees, including processing payments accurately.
- Advising clients on suitable products and services to meet their needs.
- Responding to inquiries about the offerings at VCA Animal Hospitals.
- Maintaining accurate pet records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Escorting pets to their designated areas as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- A genuine compassion for animals and a keen understanding of customer emotions.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
- A flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The capability to lift up to 40 lbs and manage potential hazards associated with working with animals.
