Compensation:
$20.79 per hour
This is a part-time role requiring 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Administrative Support team collaborates closely with the leadership of the U.S. Army Recruiting Company to facilitate the daily administrative functions of the recruiting office. This role encompasses a range of clerical tasks tailored to the needs of the recruiting environment. A solid understanding of office systems and procedures is essential. Duties may vary based on the specific protocols of each location. Additionally, employees benefit from a health and welfare stipend of $4.57 per hour on top of their hourly wage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate meetings and manage calendars, including conference calls and online meetings, while addressing any scheduling conflicts.
- Alert relevant personnel when technical issues occur.
- Welcome visitors and handle phone calls and emails, providing assistance as needed.
- Process incoming mail daily, sorting and acting as required.
- Ensure that the recruiting company and its stations are well-stocked with postal and office supplies.
- Develop and maintain both physical and digital records and reports to ensure access to current and historical data.
- Utilize the Defense Travel System (DTS) to prepare various travel orders and review requests from unit members.
- Input Bulk Leads into the Leads Management System as necessary.
- Oversee the Digital Training Management System (DTMS), ensuring training schedules are current and disseminated appropriately.
- Manage the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) for the organization, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures, including file management, stenography, transcription, and office terminology.
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Must successfully complete a federal background check and drug screening as required.
