About the Position

Southeast Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Prevention Specialist to provide substance use and mental health prevention services to diverse populations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the behavioral health field and possess a strong knowledge base regarding standards of prevention services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prevention services to youth and adults at risk for developing mental health or substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement prevention programs in partnership with community organizations, schools, and healthcare centers.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to promote prevention services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate access to treatment services.
Requirements
  • Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) certification required.
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, public health) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of prevention services and community-based programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
