We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as the ASUNM Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This role will provide guidance to the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches on inclusivity initiatives, innovations, and representation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Division of Equity and Inclusion and UNM Resource and Ethnic Centers to ensure ASUNM events, scholarships, correspondence, and governing documents are inclusive to all students.
- Regularly report to and attend Joint Council meetings.
- Arrange regular training opportunities in diverse subject matter for employees and elected members of ASUNM.
- Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM.
- Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress if Work Study.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of ASUNM.
- Very organized.
- Works well with others.
