We are currently seeking a proactive Financial Planning Analyst to enhance our Finance team. This role is pivotal in managing financial strategies and developing sophisticated reporting tools to support our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, contributing to the establishment of a premier FP&A function.
  • Utilize Power BI to monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as Annual Contract Value (ACV), sales opportunities, and customer retention metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive P&L statements during budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term planning processes.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure accurate revenue and operational expenditure forecasts.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover the underlying causes of financial variances, including SG&A cost evaluations.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting cycle and assist in the development of presentations for board meetings.
  • Create regular reports and analytical summaries that facilitate informed decision-making within the organization.
  • Identify potential areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting, including cost assessments and performance comparisons.
  • Enhance reporting frameworks and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy across financial reporting systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Power BI.
  • Develop tailored Power BI dashboards that meet the specific needs of various organizational units.
  • Lead collaborative sessions to gather and document business intelligence project requirements.
  • Manage data collections within the Power BI ecosystem to ensure seamless integration and accessibility.
  • Establish guidelines for creating impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively convey data insights.
  • Maintain and develop complex reporting structures for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Transform data from diverse sources into formats that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Document data sources, reporting specifications, and data transformation methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
  • A minimum of 1 year of practical experience with Power BI.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (NetSuite, SAP) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle).
  • Ability to analyze data across the entire data stack, from data wrangling to stakeholder reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy in data analysis.
