Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the supervision of a physician, you will conduct various diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assessing their condition before and during radiologic procedures.
- Gather necessary supplies and positioning aids based on the physician's preferences.
- Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Ensure all individuals in the examination room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
- Communicate patient status to other staff involved in their care.
- Perform maintenance on instruments and equipment by following cleaning, storage, and calibration procedures.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited radiology program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgical center.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Valid state Radiology Technician license is mandatory.
