About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pain Management Clinic team at Ochsner Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering IV therapy and performing various nursing procedures.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • IV therapy credentials (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and delegation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
