Position Overview:

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
Work Shift: 7am - 7pm

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Support Specialist to enhance our nursing team. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced LPN, this role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist inpatient nursing units under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs).
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid Louisiana LPN License and current BLS certification from an accredited provider. Additionally, IV Therapy certification is required. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in typing, computer usage, and medical terminology is necessary, along with the ability to perform detail-oriented tasks. Flexibility to meet weekend and holiday work requirements is expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in medical/surgical settings is preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Physical Demands:

Candidates should be in good physical health, capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. The role requires the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in a moderately noisy environment.
