About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at the Ochsner Covington campus. As a key member of our Department of Neurology, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and consultations to patients with diverse neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough neuropsychological evaluations for patients with neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury, primary or comorbid psychiatric conditions, and more.
  • Work closely with Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, and Allied Health Professionals to provide a comprehensive service for each patient.
  • Collaborate with our Dementia Care Management Team, including Care Navigators, Social Work, and Social Work Students, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in clinical research and implement new clinical practices, including virtual visits, to enhance patient care and reduce travel requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
