Position Overview: The Claims Processing Associate will be responsible for managing healthcare information and medical claims processing, along with healthcare billing and collection services. This role involves providing financial advice related to hospital, HMO, and clinical services to patients, their families, and third-party representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle healthcare information and medical claims processing efficiently.
  • Conduct healthcare billing and collection services.
  • Offer financial guidance regarding hospital and clinical services.
  • Verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits by contacting insurance companies.
  • Act as a liaison between patients enrolled in special drug programs and their insurance providers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience with insurance and authorization processes is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Experience in a patient-facing role or patient care for at least 1 year.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service abilities.

Salary and Work Schedule:

Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 per hour. The work shift is during the first shift, with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. A high school diploma is required.
