**Job Summary**

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access and Benefit Verification Representative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying patient benefits, processing claims, and securing copay assistance for patients in need.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Enter all communication and documentation into our client platform.
  • Utilize available resources to secure copay assistance for patients and inform providers and patients of these resources.
  • Communicate patient updates with providers and document them in our client system.
  • Initiate prior authorizations via online portal, phone, or fax using clinical notes from providers.
  • Assist patients in completing assistance applications and follow up with patients, providers, and third parties to ensure completion.
  • Monitor assistance applications with third parties until a determination is made for copay or free good support.
  • Handle inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and clinics regarding services, financial support programs, and applications.
  • Coordinate with the Patient Benefit team to initiate the pharmacy workflow once assistance is approved.
  • Redirect prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or hub providers when necessary, ensuring receipt.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Report complications (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1+ year of experience in benefits verification, claims, copay, or pharmacy.
  • 1+ year of data entry experience (creating profiles, medication knowledge).
  • Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to take a typing test.
