Volt is actively seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team.
As a Reimbursement Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing healthcare information and processing medical claims, along with billing and collection services while offering financial advice related to hospital and clinical services to patients and their families.
- Engaging with insurance providers to confirm eligibility for drug benefit coverage.
- Acting as a liaison between patients enrolled in special drug programs and their respective insurance companies.
- Continuing to oversee healthcare information and medical claims processing, ensuring efficient billing and collection services, and providing financial guidance.
- Contacting insurance companies to verify coverage eligibility for drug benefits and facilitating communication between patients and insurers.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience in insurance is essential.
- Strong customer service skills are required.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am - 6 pm
Duration: 6 Months
Compensation: $19 to $21 per hour on W2.
*Compensation will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, job location, specific responsibilities, and certifications.
