About the Role

Elastic, the pioneering Search AI Company, is seeking a seasoned sales leader to spearhead our Federal Civilian Enterprise Sales organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding a high-performing team of Account Executives across the region, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion, and meeting/exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.

Reporting directly to the AVP for the Federal Civilian team, you will collaborate with a seasoned leadership team comprised of experienced peers across the country, boasting a combined 80 years of industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our cutting-edge technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape.
  • Contribute to and own sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation.
  • Ensure the attainment of assigned sales quotas by leading from the front and driving Elastic's sales methodology.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems.
  • Travel regularly to assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet managerial needs and provide support to your team as required.
  • Partner across Elastic's leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
  • Experience leading Enterprise sales teams, specifically Civilian accounts.
  • Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast-paced and technical client acquisition-driven business.
  • Strong SaaS sales leadership.
  • Executive-level relationships with key accounts.
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Experience working within an Open Source model.

Elastic offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, variable component, and comprehensive benefits. The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $285,000-$440,000 USD. We also offer a company-matched 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits that prioritize employee well-being.
