Customer Service Representative I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with inquiries, updates, and changes related to their care, including claims, eligibility, referrals, and billing.
  • Provide thorough documentation of all interactions and follow up on open issues.
  • Verify HIPAA requirements to ensure accurate account information.
  • Communicate recurring issues and trends to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and IPA operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office navigation, Excel, and Word.
