Job Summary

The Business Account Executive is responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell coax delivered Internet, video, and voice services to new customers.
  • Offer custom hosting, desktop security, data backup, data storage, toll-free numbers, additional email addresses, static IPs, and other ancillary services.
  • Prospect for new customers and sell bundled services to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.
  • Business-to-business sales experience.
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
