Your Role:

As a vital member of our team, you will act as the primary contact for client companies, providing expert guidance and support in human resources management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Deliver comprehensive HR services to designated client stakeholders, establishing yourself as the trusted advisor for all HR-related inquiries.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client administrators, addressing and resolving escalated issues related to payroll, benefits, and policies.
  • Coordinate solutions from various departments to ensure prompt responses to client needs.
  • Oversee compliance services, including scheduling mandatory training and assisting clients in implementing HR policies effectively.
  • Support clients in achieving strategic HR goals encompassing performance management, compensation strategies, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, collaborating closely with sales, operations, payroll, and benefits teams.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with clients to foster loyalty and success.
  • Assist employees in utilizing resources available on the Client Portal.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior HR leadership as necessary.

Talent Development

  • Provide training services, including the design and delivery of workshops and the management of online training resources.
  • Advise clients on recruitment strategies and facilitate access to job boards and assessment tools.
  • Assist clients in creating and managing job descriptions effectively.
  • Enable clients to utilize tools for goal setting and performance evaluations.

Benefits Consultation

  • Collaborate with the Benefits department to guide clients in selecting and subsidizing employee benefits.
  • Lead client-facing aspects of annual benefits enrollment processes.
  • Advise clients on compliant choices regarding health, dental, vision, and other employee benefits.
  • Act as a liaison for clients regarding Workers Compensation claims and Leaves of Absence.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Educate clients on best practices for managing employee relations and performance issues.
  • Provide guidance on sensitive matters such as performance, discipline, and termination.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist clients in maintaining compliance with EEO regulations and preparing necessary reports.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation affecting the client base.
  • Engage with legal counsel as necessary for complex issues.

Leadership & Documentation

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in designated areas, providing support to colleagues.
  • Document client interactions and investigations accurately within the ClientSpace system.
  • Utilize company systems effectively, including Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management tools.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA or BS degree is required.
  • Advanced studies in business, human resources, or employment law are preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or HR Business Partner in a multi-client environment is required.
  • Experience in Employment Law is desirable.
  • Experience in a PEO setting is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Effective presentation and consultative skills.
  • Client-focused with a creative problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to navigate structured processes while managing ambiguity.
