Position Overview:
We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to become a vital part of our Technical Operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our systems and delivering outstanding service to our clients.
The position involves close collaboration with fellow engineers, analysts, and various cross-functional teams to ensure that production challenges are addressed swiftly and professionally.
This role offers the chance to engage with top-tier retailers and online brands that have selected Global-e as their trusted partner for cross-border eCommerce solutions, relying on our system's reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure all technical issues faced by our merchants are promptly addressed.
- Collaborate closely with the Tier 2 support team and other departments within the organization.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges.
- Manage escalations and tackle complex problems effectively.
- Analyze logs and utilize SQL for troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Strong grasp of technical support methodologies and tools.
- Outstanding troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proactive approach to identifying root causes of issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and log analysis.
- Experience with Atlassian, Zendesk, and SharePoint is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a global organization is a plus.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position based out of our Atlanta office, with a policy of three days in the office.
