Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our assembly and testing team, you will be responsible for the build, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Perform the build, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level.
  • Test Specifications and Procedures: Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain test tooling, sending and receiving tooling to complete daily work activities.
  • Collaboration: Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: An AA degree, military technical training, or their equivalent vocational training is required.
  • Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Skills: Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems, ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of testing and measuring instruments.
