Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at KLA-Belgium. As an Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing fixtures for next-generation broadband plasma (BBP) wafer inspection opto-mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fixtures for opto-mechanical assemblies, including actuator selection, tolerance analysis, lifetime evaluation, optics mounting, alignment, and adjustment design.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to support and troubleshoot product issues during product ramp-up.
  • Qualify and release the fixture design, ensuring it meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Develop and maintain CAD models using Cero/ProEngineer, and perform thermal and structural simulations using ANSYS.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0 years of related work experience.
  • Strong understanding of opto-mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Experience with CAD modeling and simulation tools, such as Cero/ProEngineer and ANSYS.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
